Transport: Have you Discovered ReadiBus?

ReadiBus is the door – to – door bus service for anyone who finds using ordinary public transport difficult. The service is booked by telephone. There is no joining or membership fee, just a bus fare to pay when you board (Wokingham District tokens and bus passes accepted – please mention when booking if you have such a bus pass).

The bus can be used to go shopping at Twyford and Woodley and Reading Town Centre.

Every ReadiBus is wheelchair accessible. Journeys are door to door –and the ReadiBus staff will offer you as much help as you need to make your journey safe and comfortable.

If you ever have any difficulty getting or making the journey you want on ReadiBus, phone or write to Liz Johnson at ReadiBus – she will see if any of the schemes that ReadiBus operates might be of benefit to you or will explore alternative solutions to the problem.

ReadiBus Shopmobility offers shopping assistants to help you get around Reading town centre.
