Medley of Twyford summer music

The Twyford Singers will be performing a medley of summer music including a touch of Broadway in their Summer Concert on the 3rd of July at Loddon Hall, Twyford.

The choir will be singing a medley from Les Miserables, various hits by Andrew Lloyd Webber including well known numbers such as Jesus Christ Superstar and Don’t Cry for me Argentina. In addition there will be toe tapping tunes from one of America’s top Broadway composer, Richard Rodgers with excerpts from Oklahoma! and The Sound of Music.

The Twyford choir will also present some traditional English folk songs, and Vaughan Williams’ Five Mystical Songs so the audience can also enjoy some gentle and reflective music.

The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £7.00 including refreshments. Tickets on the door or from 0118 934 2406 or 0118 934 5985.

Anyone interested in joining the choir can contact us by email at secretary@twyford-singers.org.uk or telephone 0118 969 8326. There is no audition but you need to be able to sing in tune. Rehearsals are at the United Reformed Church Hall, Church Street, Twyford on Tuesdays 7.45-9.45pm
