Robbery from Twyford Waggon and Horses
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery at the Waggon and Horses pub in Twyford early this morning (26/10).
At around 12.45am, three men carrying knives forced their way into the Twyford pub and stole cash from the office. Two members of staff in the pub received minor injuries and received treatment at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. A significant amount of money was stolen.
Det Con Alastair Bagshaw, of Loddon Valley CID, said: “This was a violent incident and the victims were lucky not to receive serious injuries.
“I would ask for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward, no matter how much or little they feel they saw.
“I am certain that there are a number of people who will know who is responsible and I would ask anybody with any information to come forward, anonymously if they would prefer.”
