Wargrave Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a spate of thefts from graves in Braybrooke Road Cemetery.

Police Community Support Officer Jackie Daniels, of the Wargrave neighbourhood policing team, said: “Over the past few months there have been several incidents reported where plants have been taken from the ground, and from containers placed at graves.

“This is extremely upsetting for the family members, and the neighbourhood team is appealing for information. Have you seen anyone unfamiliar in the area or suspicious vehicles which looked out of place?

“A letter is being delivered, by hand through their doors, to residents of Braybrooke Road asking for their help to find whoever is responsible.”
