Incident in Twyford involving an out of control dog

Twyford Police are keen to trace the owner of a dog after an incident last Thursday (12/3) on the public footpath that runs parallel to Hurst Park Road, in Twyford.

At approximately 12.15pm, a dog that was not on a lead ran at a three-year-old boy and barked in his face. The boy was not injured, but police would like to talk to the owner of the dog, who did not stop to talk to the boy’s mother at the time of the incident.

The dog is described as a medium-sized black cross-breed.

PC Laura Corscadden of Reading police said: “I would like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may know who owns this dog.

”If you are the owner of this dog, please contact me on the police enquiry centre number.”
