Annual Twyford Bonfire and Fireworks evening

Twyford and District Round Table's annual Bonfire and Fireworks evening will be held this year on Saturday October 25th. It should be noted that this is the first weekend of half term and not the last as it often is.

Gates open at 6:30 with the fireworks at approximately 7:30pm. The event, in King George's Field Twyford, will include what everyone has come to expect from the event– a spectacular themed fireworks display, traditional bonfire, bar, food and a fun fair.

Tickets will be available in advance from Brightons newsagents in Twyford and Woodley, Sheeplands farm shop at Hare Hatch and also on the gate on the night.

The above long running event (now in its 36th year), not only brings together the community for a great evening of spectacle, but also raises serious money.

Last year Twyford & District Round Table – which is a registered charity - contributed over £8,000 to predominately local charities and good causes, most of this being raised at the bonfire. These included Daisy's Dream, Twyford Age Concern, Charvil Girls Choir and Yeldall Manor as well as local pre and infant schools.

We are also looking for local companies willing to sponsor the event. In return for sponsorship we can offer a mention in our publicity materials and also on the night.
