Hare Hatch Plant Nursery, Twyford, is pleased to announce that they will be hosting their first Farmers Market on Saturday 23rd September 2006, 9am to 2pm, and thereafter on the 4th Saturday of every month.

Nursery Owner, Rob Scott, is delighted to be hosting this event and says,

“Both Hare Hatch Plant Nursery and the Farmers’ Market traders have reputations based upon the quality and freshness of their produce. The only difference is that ours aren’t edible (except the herbs!). Once a month our Farmers’ Market will offer a fantastic range of local, quality produce which we know our customers will love. It is wonderful to work on a project which allows Hare Hatch to support both local business and British Agriculture & Horticulture and gives our customers an exciting new reason to come and see us.

I envisage that this monthly event will provide the local residents with a welcome change to supermarket shopping, and make its way on to their calendars as a “not-to-be-missed” event.…even if only for the tasty Hog Roast lunch”

Theresa May MP is very keen to support the Farmers Market and will be visiting at approximately 10.15 am.
