Twyford Bowling Club

Twyford Bowling Club are holding an Open Day on Saturday 6th May commencing at 2pm.

Anyone who would like to take up bowls or would simply like to try it to see whether they would like it is welcome to come along.

Refreshments will be served during the afternoon and coaches and members will be available to introduce visitors to the game.

Twyford are looking to increase their membership and whether you wish to play socially or in friendly matches or to try your luck in the league and competitions you will be very welcome.

When on the green flat shoes are required to avoid damaging the green. If you do not have such shoes we can loan you a pair for the afternoon.

Bowls is a great game, good excercise and played by young or old.

The club has members from Reading, Woodley, Wokingham, Hurst, Maidenhead Wargrave, Ruscombe and Twyford and has a reputation for being a good social club with a friendly atmosphere.

Easy to find, we are in the Wargrave Road, close to the cross roads in the centre of the village and plenty of parking space is available close by.

Les Moody Chairman & Club Captain.
