Twyford

Twyford & District Round Table is holding the annual Charity Bonfire and Fireworks on Saturday 29th Of October, on King George’s Field Twyford. The musical theme to accompany the fireworks is “A Space Odyssey”. All proceeds are donated to Charity.

As with previous years a Drawing Competition is being run, for two age groups 5-7 and 7-12 years old. Entries will be judged on the night, with prizes for the winning artists and schools.

Many local businesses have generously sponsored the evening including Simmons & Lawrence, Packaids Ltd, Fields Pharmacy, Century Picture Framing, Lorne Laboratories. Major Sponsors include, Axxia Systems, Woods Yard, Rapid Hire and Print Room Group.

Attractions include Fireworks, Bonfire, Burger and Hotdog Stand, Beer Tent, Refreshments and Fun Fair. Gates open at 6.30pm, the fireworks will commence at 7.30pm.

Advance Tickets are available from Brighton’s Newsagents in Twyford or Woodley and from BS Stores in Ruscombe. Adult tickets in advance £4 (£5 on the Gate), Senior Citizens/Youths £2 (£3 on the Gate), Children 5-12 years old £1 and Children under 5 years old Free.
