Wargrave Village festival ~ music concert night.
The Wargrave Village festival is held every 2 years and is community based and run by local volunteers with many varied events over a 2 week period in June 2005.
This year we have a new event, a music concert night in the Festival marquee next to St Mary’s Church in Wargrave with world famous guitarists. A real coup for a little village festival we have booked Tommy Emmanuel world famous Australian acoustic finger picker guitarist who in 2000 closed the Sydney Olympics in front of 2bn viewers. He is supported by Johnny Dickinson, Northumbrian entertainer and singer with a unique slide guitar style. Tommy Emmanuel plays on Saturday night 18th June at Wargrave and on Sunday night he is at the Carnegie Hall, New York appearing in a 90th birthday tribute concert to Les Paul
We expect the event to be sold out but at the moment we have some tickets left but not that many. To be sure of a seat people need to let me know asap. Tickets are £17.50 and are available from me. Contact numbers and email details are below
