Taking information to people
in the Wokingham District

 

What we do:

We use a purpose-built mobile vehicle as an Information and Resource Centre. We have information on:-

and much more. If we don't already know we will try to find any information you require!

We are a collection point for Foreign and discontinued currency, used mobile phones, glasses, (spectacles)  and printer cardridges, as well as stamps for Children's Aid Direct.

Who we are:

The mobile information centre, known as MICE, is a voluntary organisation and a registered charity started in 1989 by local people serving the Wokingham District. We have a paid Co-ordinator, a Driver/ Information Worker and many trained volunteers who provide this service. We have knowledge of many community activities and we are in contact with both voluntary and statutory organisations.
