or a trip down memory lane as you enjoy old favourites. We have books on tape
and language cassettes, so you need never be at a loss for words on your next
holiday!
FREE Internet access is available to members, so seeking information
or keeping in contact with far-flung friends couldn't be easier. Online catalogue,
reservations and renewals are available 24 hours a day via our web-site.
There is no charge for joining the library and no charge for borrowing books if you return them on time. You can apply for a ticket if you live, work or study anywhere in Wokingham District or hold a valid ticket for any other Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire or Surrey library. All you need to do is provide proof of your current address and complete an application form.
In addition to books, Twyford Library offers newspapers and
periodicals, FAX and photocopying facilities, large print books for those

The library is a source of reference, local and community information, encyclopædias,
maps and homework material for schoolchildren.
If you are unable to find what you want, we offer a reservation service to
obtain materials from other libraries, and our friendly and helpful staff
are on hand to help with all your information needs.
